EatOut Kenya, the largest online restaurant discovery platform in Kenya, has once again committed to sponsoring the Best Food category in the BAKE Awards. EatOut sponsored the category for the first time last year where Kaluhi Adagala of kaluhiskitchen.com emerged victorious.

This year’s food blog category winner will win the following courtesy of EatOut.

  1. Restaurant vouchers worth Ksh. 5,000
  2. Return flight to anywhere in Kenya
  3. Recipe column in Yummy Magazine for 6 months
  4. Paid TV production of 5 recipes

Michelle Slater, General Manager EatOut Kenya, had this to say about the sponsorship “EatOut Kenya will be sponsoring the Best Food Blogger category and we consider it is an essential partnership for us. We’re always looking to influence individuals to write, photograph, and document wonderful food experiences. The Best Food Blogger category expands incredibly every year garnering more blogger submissions which we see as a reflection of the growing culinary industry here in Kenya. With something new and additional to this year, the winner of the Best Food Blogger category gets a chance to be part of the soon to be launched Yummy TV.”

This is the 6th BAKE Awards and it started on January 9th 2017 with the launch of the submission phase and will culminate in the awarding of the winners at a gala event on May 13th 2017.

The submission phase was extended to 10th March and we continue to receive submissions of Kenyan blogs at bakeawards.co.ke/submit. Continue submitting your favourite blogs into the competition.
