Vivienne Taa is the Sponsor the Fashion, Beauty, Style and Hair Category

Jane Muthoni 2017, Blog

We are pleased to have Vivienne Taa sponsor the Best Fashion/Beauty/Style/Hair Blog category.  This category is being sponsored for the first time in BAKE Awards history.  Previous winners of this category include Nancie Mwai, Sharon Mundia, Sylvia Njoki and Lucia Musau.

Vivienne Taa is a bold, edgy fashion brand that intricately blends African and contemporary fabric plus designs into beautifully styled exotic clothes and bags for fashion lovers with a discerning eye. The designs draw inspiration from African culture, music, art and way of life.

On account of sponsoring the category, the founder of the Fashion House, Vivienne Taa said, ”We’re very proud to partner with BAKE Awards in 2017 and to sponsor the best fashion and style blog category. As a fashion house, we consider this a natural fit. Fashion is a multi-billion-dollar industry that has considerable impact on the way ordinary people dress and present themselves. It relies heavily on media and advertising to communicate. Fashion blogs are represent a disruptive innovation to the consumption of fashion in modern society. These bloggers have a significant influence in the industry and it is important that they are supported.”

This is the 6th BAKE Awards and it started on January 9th 2017 with the launch of the submission phase and will culminate in the awarding of the winners at a gala event on May 13th 2017.

The submission phase was extended to tomorrow 10th March and we continue to receive submissions of Kenyan blogs at bakeawards.co.ke/submit. Continue submitting your favourite blogs into the competition.
