Konza Technopolis to sponsor Best technology Blog Category in the BAKE Awards 2019
We are pleased to announce that Konza Technopolis Development Authority is this year’s sponsor for the Technology Category in the BAKE Awards 2019.
Konza Technology City is a large technology hub planned by the Government of Kenya. It is dubbed “where African silicon savannah begins” The project wants to attract business process outsourcing, software development, data centres, disaster recovery centres, call centres and light assembly manufacturing industries. They also want to build a university campus focused on research and technology as well as hotels, residential areas, schools and hospitals.
This year’s competition began on February 12th, 2019, where blog submissions were accepted in 23 categories which included business, tech, food, agriculture, health, fashion, travel among others. Thereafter, a panel of judges selected the best 5 nominees from the successful submissions in each of the categories. These nominees were voted for in the month of May and we now anticipate to crown them in a gala event on Saturday 22nd June 2019 at Utalii Hotel, Nairobi.
BAKE Awards has recognized and awarded exceptional Kenyan bloggers in different categories every year and is organized by the Bloggers Association of Kenya (BAKE).
